OLF army declares independence from the organization

(BRANA PRESS) Army wing of Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) lead by Jal Mero has detached itself from the organization, Wazema radio reported.

The army commander said it will continue fighting with the Ethiopian government until it achieves the initial objectives of the organization.

The Oromo Liberation Front is an organization established in 1973 by Oromo nationalists to promote self-determination for the Oromo people against Ethiopia.

The army commander believes no political negotiation is needed on this objective and Oromia must be detached from Ethiopia.
